MID BACK PAIN – THE CAUSE AND OPTIONS
Mid-back pain or pain between the shoulder blades is a very common problem. It is especially common for people that work with their hands out in front of their body.
A great example of that is computer work. When your hands are on a keyboard for hours each day you put additional stress on your mid back. The shoulders rolled forward position that tends to occur can cause misalignments in the mid-back area.
The Common Path
Most people experiencing mid back pain just live with it. They let years go by without normal motion or function in their spine. This lack of normal motion can have serious impacts on the discs or pads between the spinal bones.
The discs are very strong, but they rely on normal motion to remain stable and healthy. When normal motion is lost the discs can become deformed and weakened eventually leading to issues like:

- Kyphosis or Hunchback
- Herniated Discs
- Compression Fractures
